Clean Headlight:
Take roughness compond apply on front lends rub with rag untill compond is dry they look like innovative
Dome light issues:
There are two jam switches located on the latch assymbly. Single on top and one at the underneath. They can become grubby and not function accurately causing the dome light to stay on until it “times” outdated. They can be detached and cleaned so they don’t stick. As soon as I found them, it took me nearly an hour to completely remove the door panel, latch assymbly, and to reinstall everything back.
Lubricate consumption:
Believe it or not, it is habitual for these engines to use something like a quart every 2000 even when they are effectively new. Note that I said, “use”, not “burn”. The combination of superior compression and operating temperatures causes oil to pass through the engine. You might notice your tail pipes have a good coating on the inside. I managed to slow down the process by converting to Mobil 1 0W40. I obtain much better performance and I only use a quart each 3500-4000.
